Local Writing For Wellbeing Workshops

At Chapter One bookshop, we’re thrilled to host our first series of Local Writing For Wellbeing workshops, thanks to support from Literature Wales.

Here’s what Lorna, workshop leader, has to say about them:

Storytelling is an important part of our lives. Whether keeping a diary, telling a friend about something that happened to us or appreciating a piece of poetry, it helps us connect to our local environment, each other and ourselves.

These six friendly and relaxed sessions will look at ways writing can help us tell our stories. We’ll look at writing our own stories, writing from objects, both personal and museum-based, from nature, the senses and much more.

Whether you’re new to writing or published, have a project you’re already working on or are facing a blank page, all are welcome.

For more information or to book tickets, email Lorna at lornaleethewriter@gmail.com.

Lorna Lee is a writer and teacher with twenty years experience leading creative writing workshops and encouraging creativity in others.
